Music fans in Buffalo and Toronto have plenty to be happy about this summer, between free outdoor concerts in both cities, and awesome music programs playing on WNED-TV.
Buffalo: Thursday at Canalside
This revitalized, beautiful downtown location is celebrating its second year of free summer concerts. Unlike its former location at Lafayette Square, there’s an almost endless amount of room to enjoy a nice summer evening, scope out the waterfront, enjoy an ice cream cone and a beer (perhaps they don’t go so great together), and see incredible musicians play for free!
Can’t-miss appearances include:
Edward Shape & The Magnetic Zeroes - June 13
Teddy Riley & Blackstreet – June 27
G. Love & The Special Sauce – July 11
Yonder Mountain String Band – August 1

Toronto: NXNE Festival @ Yonge-Dundas Square
There’s music/film/art goings-on around the city from June 10 - 16 for the NXNE Festival, but the best part is the free concerts in the heart of downtown by some INCREDIBLE musical artists!
Social Distortion – Thursday, June 13
The National – Friday, June 14
Billy Talent – Saturday, June 15
Ludacris – Sunday, June 16
