Those of you who have been to a St. Patrick's Day Parade know how much fun it is. The music, marching and dancing is great but the pride filled audience on the sideline is where the real show is. Several years ago, I managed to inadvertently become a part of the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade. After coming up from the subway in lower Manhattan, my friend and I tried crossing the street and could not find our way out so we had no choice but to march on with our fellow parade participants decked out in green! This lasted for about two blocks until we found an opening and exited the parade. If you are interested in having a good time the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Buffalo will take place on March 17 at 2 p.m. Can't make that? Enjoy our month long celebration with Celtic programming on WNED-TV. Here's a few highlights for the month of March, which happens to be Irish-American Heritage Month.
