Factoid Friday: Saving a Landmark

By Rebecca Howell, WNED corporate communications intern

clip_image001Happy Friday! It’s time for another fact about WNED. Did you know WNED produced a three-part series called “Saving a Landmark: The Darwin Martin House?” This was about Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterwork here in Buffalo. It provided an inside look at the process of restoring the breathtaking home.

The Darwin Marin House was built between the years of 1903 and 1906. It was considered to be one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s greatest prairie houses, and it’s still around today! It is located on Jewett Parkway right in downtown Buffalo.

Have a good weekend!
