On Thursday, Oct, 13 at 9 p.m., WNED-TV will air the race for Erie County Executive. The debate will be between Republican incumbent Chris Collins and Democratic candidate and current Erie County Comptroller Mark Poloncarz.
In the years past, we’ve hosted a few debates:
- 2000- Hillary Rodham Clinton and Rick Lazio, Senate debate.
- 2006- Eliot Spitzer and John Faso, New York State Governor debate.
- 2008- Christopher Lee and Alice Kryzan, 26th Congressional District debate.
While the live event is open to an invitation-only studio audience, you can still email questions for the candidates to debate@wned.org. Who knows, maybe your question will be the one our panel will ask!
